Turning off standby mode on your JVC TV without a remote is easier than you may think. Scroll down to learn exactly what you need to do.
There are three different ways that you can get your JVC TV off standby mode without using a remote. You can use the physical power button, channel buttons, or reboot the TV entirely by disconnecting it from its power source. Let’s take a closer look at each method.
All you’ll need to do is turn the TV off and turn it back on using the power button on the TV. The power button is located on the right side of the TV towards the bottom. It will have a power icon in front of it. Once you turn the TV back on, standby mode will be off.
You could also use the channel buttons to turn off standby mode. All you need to do for this method is push the up or down channel key. These buttons are on the right side of the TV as well, but they are listed above the power button.
If you are still having trouble getting the JVC TV off standby mode, you can try disconnecting the TV from the power source and reconnecting it again. From there, turn on the TV as usual using the side buttons. Because this method will take the longest, we recommend trying it last.
Using one of the three methods above, you can get your JVC TV off standby mode without a remote. So that you are not in this position again, purchase a universal remote. Universal remotes are relatively cheap and will make turning standby mode off a lot faster.
